Meet Colleen Hendricks, Board Member

“Every voice matters. Every cry deserves to be heard.”

Colleen Hendricks is a dedicated advocate, counselor, and community servant whose life reflects a commitment to listening, supporting, and serving others. As the devoted wife of Robert Hendricks, Founder of Cry Heard Support, Inc., Colleen proudly serves on the Board and is deeply committed to advancing the organization’s mission.

As a certified Sexual Assault Advocate, Colleen is passionate about raising awareness, standing alongside survivors, and encouraging communities to respond with compassion, dignity, and support. She believes no one should have to suffer in silence and that every person deserves an opportunity to be heard.

Her faith is an important foundation of her service. Proverbs 21:13 (ESV) says:

“Whoever closes his ear to the cry of the poor will himself call out and not be answered.”

For Colleen, this Scripture is more than a verse—it is a call to action. It reminds us to listen to those who are hurting, respond to those in need, and never turn away from a cry for help.

Colleen also serves as a Grief Counselor, offering compassion and support to individuals navigating grief, loss, trauma, and difficult seasons of life.

Before dedicating herself to advocacy and counseling, Colleen served 37 years as a Clerk of the Superior Court. Throughout her career, she demonstrated professionalism, courtesy, and a commitment to providing efficient and accurate information and assistance to court staff and the public.

Today, that same spirit of service continues through her work with Cry Heard Support, Inc.

Colleen’s mission is simple: to listen, to advocate, to serve, and to help ensure that the cries of those in need are heard.

Hear the Cry. Stand With Others. Make a Difference.
